Get to know the industrial revolution that affected the whole of Asturias and especially the Nalon valley, from the middle of the eighteenth century, and you can witness how it changed the features and the way of life of the valley up to the present day.
• The Mining and Industry Museum (El Entrego), where we can see a real life sized working mine displaying all aspects of mine exploration from ancient times. The visit is completed with a walk through the “Mina Imagen”, realistically recreating the atmosphere in a mine shaft.
• The Iron and Steel Industry Museum (La Felguera), preserves this activity’s former glory when it was founded in the nineteenth century by the pioneer D. Pedro Duro and the present times of inevitable reorganisation.
